What is Felting?
Felting is an ancient textile art , where manipulating wool , soapy water and rolling, squeezing and trowing, one creates a very special and unique piece.
Some pieces I apply the Nuno Felting , which is a technique introduced by Textile Designer Polly Stirling, where one applies soapy water and pressure over wool placed on silk chiffon or gauze scarf. This forces the fibers to migrate into the weave of the silk or other fabric that is being used.
How do I care for my scarf?
You scarf or shawl can be hand washed in cold water, but some designs I recommend Dry cleaning
Please note that everything is hand made and subject to variations.
